Jennifer Nettles Says She's Thrilled For Rihanna Duet

Jennifer Nettles - Sugarland songstress Jennifer Nettles is looking forward to her on stage duet with pop star Rihanna.

Rihanna and Jennifer Nettles will perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards 46th annual show, airing April 3 at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Jennifer says of her impending performance,

“It’s the first time that Lady Ri and I have ever sung together and the first time that this song will be performed live so we are thrilled,” Nettles said,

“We’re just big fans of each other. We wanted to do something that was fun and different and fresh, and I reached out to her and said, ‘Hey, anything you want to do?’ and she said, ‘I have this song that I specifically would love to do,’ and I said, ‘Yes ma’am, we will do it.’”

“It is such a moment. And I think what it shows us is that good music is good and good performance is good, and as long as you like it, who cares what you call it. Get out there and have fun with each other.

“I am planning on having a diamond-encrusted crotch.” *Interesting*

Pauley Perrette To Release Duet With Navy Veteran

Pauley Perrette is set to release an R&B duet with a Navy veteran.
The actress and star of Ncis has teamed up with a veteran named B. Taylor to record 'Fire in Your Eyes', an upbeat duet set for release on 3rd May 2011, reports Forbes. Perrette and Taylor first met when he paid a visit to the set of the hit Cbs legal drama about Naval investigators. He was invited by a friend who is an advisor on the series and was soon introduced to the 42-year-old actress. The two hit it off immediately and she invited him to attend her church, the Hollywood United Methodist. Their time together inspired the veteran to write 'Fire in Your Eyes' and Perrette was only too happy to feature on the record. The actress's spokeswoman Belinda Foster says the single will be released on Universal Music Group's Bungalo Records and will be available via iTunes. A music video is also planned but further details are yet to be released.

Pauley Perrette, who plays Abby Sciuto on Ncis, recorded the song 'Fear' for the show's official soundtrack back in 2009. She was also the lead singer in the Los Angeles-based all-female band 'Lo-Ball'
