Christie Brinkley Reached Out To Billy Joel! Model Christie Brikley Sex Ex Helped Her Get Stage Role!

CHRISTIE Brinkley says her ex-husband Billy Joel gave her tips before she auditioned for her role as Roxie in the Broadway version of musical Chicago.
The mother-of-three, 57, has revealed the Uptown Girl hitmaker told her how to make the best of her singing voice.
“He helped with my projection,” she said.
Brinkley — who has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers — also revealed that dancing in the show had “definitely” improved her figure.
Brinkley was criticized for her dancing in the 1983 video for Joel’s hit Uptown Girl – but insists she has improved since.
Christie recently insisted she is in no rush to find the man of her dreams.
“Most of the time, I’ve got my kids with me, so I’m not as prone to meeting people,” she said.
“And then, you never really know if someone is talking to you because you’re a celebrity. It’s not my number one priority.
“I always knew I wanted to be a mother … it takes a lot of work.
“My work makes me a better mom. It gives me a little door to step out of my parenting and bring the excitement from that day back home.”

Jennifer Lopez is Terrified of the Ocean

Jennifer Lopez is keen to compete in another triathlon - as long as she doesn't have to swim in the sea.

The singer/actress and American Idol judge admits the swimming part of her 2008 triathlon was the toughest part of the feat - because she's terrified of the ocean.

Lopez tells the Globe, "I'd love to do another one, but I don't want to swim in the ocean again. That was the worst part for me.

"I would swim in a pool, even if it is 100 laps... It was a great fear of mine to swim in the sea. I conquered that fear once, but I wouldn't do it again."

Ashley Judd talks of neglect, abuse in memoir

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Actress Ashley Judd says in a new memoir that she had a lonely, painful childhood that included sexual abuse and thoughts of suicide while her mother Naomi Judd and sister Wynonna sought to build a career as country music stars.
In excerpts of "All That Is Bitter and Sweet," and in a TV interview on the "Today" show on Tuesday, Judd spoke of feeling neglected and emotionally abused while constantly moving homes with the Judd country legends.
"My family of origin, the one into which I was born, was also brimming with love but was not a healthy family system. There was too much trauma, abandonment, addiction and shame," the "Double Jeopardy" actress writes in the memoir, which was published on Tuesday.
Judd, 42, wrote that she was molested by a family friend as a teenager, witnessed inappropriate sexual behavior between her mother and her new boyfriends, and said drugs were regularly available in her home.

Many of the memories, including times when she played with her mother's gun after school and thought about shooting herself, were repressed and were recovered when Judd underwent therapy in 2006.
Judd told "Today" in an interview that the goal of her book was to better explain the humanitarian work she does around the globe involving impoverished and abused women in brothels, slums and refugee camps.
"I was really encouraged by people I trust to include some of my own story, because why I love (humanitarian) work really baffled people, and so I eventually got willing to put it there," the actress explained.

Naomi Judd said in a statement to the "Today" show: "I love my daughter. I hope her book does well."
Ashley Judd called her mother's attitude to the revelations "exquisitely gracious."
Naomi Judd and her country singer daughter Wynonna are set to reveal details of their own tempestuous relationship in a six part TV documentary series starting on the Oprah Winfrey Network on Sunday.

Miley Cyrus is 'epic,' Charlie Sheen says

Miley Cyrus is "epic," troubled actor Charlie Sheen says, days after the teen pop star rejoined Twitter after more than a year.
The 18-year-old actress and singer, who rose to fame as the star of Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana," quit the social networking service in late 2009, saying in an YouTube video that she wanted to keep her personal life private. She had Tweeted that her then-boyfriend, actor Liam Hemsworth, did not use the service himself and wanted her to delete her account.

On March 29, Cyrus surfaced on Twitter again under the username gypsyhearttour, referencing the name of her upcoming "Gypsy Heart" tour of South America and Australia, which begins at the end of April.
Sheen has making headlines over the past few months due to a rehab stint for alcohol and drug abuse, a custody battle with his estranged wife and on-air rants on television, radio and on the Web against the co-creator of his CBS comedy series, "Two and a Half Men." He was later axed from the show and producers said he had "been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill."
The 45-year-old actor, who has struggled with substance addiction for years, gained a slew of new fans, especially younger ones, after he joined Twitter in early Marchjoined Twitter in early March. He often touts his live-in girlfriends, who are at least 20 years younger than him. For weeks, millions of people have recited quotes he has made in interviews and on Twitter that have now become catchphrases, namely the sarcastically-toned "Winning." (Read some of Charlie Sheen's craziest quotes.)

"Do not fear...the Sheenius is here!" a message on the gypsyhearttour Twitter account said on Sunday. "I'm I'm not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning."
A message on Sheen's Twitter page on Monday said: "Dear Miley, Welcome back to Twitter! Always felt you were epic... Now you proved it! Thanks for the love! ybh c @gypsyhearttour."
Sheen is currently on his first stage tour, as fans wait to see what the actor will do with his entertainment career. Sheen's first show in Detroit on Saturday, April 2, did not go over well, as audience members booed and walked out, but the actor earned a standing ovation at a show in Chicago a day later.
Cyrus has undergone a turbulent year herself.

She caused some controversy lwhen she showcased a more mature image in performances and music videos, which marked a sharp contrast to her "good-girl" "Hannah Montana" persona seen on "Hannah Montana," the show that made her a worldwide star.
In October, her father and "Hannah Montana" co-star Billy Ray announced he and her mother, Tish, were ending their 17-year marriage. He announced in mid-March that he had called off a divorce and that they were reconciling
In December, Cyrus was criticized after a video posted on TMZ showed her smoking salvia, a herb legal in California, out of a bong and swearing. Cyrus later said the move was "a bad decision."
In Cyrus began her acting career when she was eight and rose to fame with her role on "Hannah Montana," which ended in January after four seasons. She starred in her first major film, "The Last Song", with Hemsworth, her on-again, off-again boyfriend, last year. On Sunday, Cyrus won the Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Movie Actress for her performance (see a list of winners).
Hemsworth was recently cast in "The Hunger Games" alongside Jennifer Lawrence, while Cyrus is filming the sorority comedy "So Undercover" with friend Kelly Osbourne, who also defended her after the "bong" video surfaced.

By the way
Charlie Sheen may have bombed on tour. But he picked up at least one follower: Miley Cyrus. The pop star took over her 'Gypsy Heart' Twitter account after a two-year break from tweeting, posting, 'I'm not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning.'
